About Schnauzers
Schnauzers were developed in Germany during the 14th to 16th centuries. Named for their distinctive mustache, schnauzers soon won the love and adoration the world over. Recognized by both the American Kennel Club and American Pet Registry Inc, the breed fits into the working and terrier classes depending on size specification.
The schnauzer is a huge personality in a little body. Outgoing, friendly, and fearless, the schnauzer is the perfect family companion from the farm to the apartment. Schnauzers have proven to have one of the highest intelligences of more than 140 breeds of dog. They are eager to please and tend to learn commands quite quickly.
